A Day of Love

First and foremost, I want to wish everyone a wonderful Valentines Day. Just pretty much starting my day today because I took the time to rest from emotional drainage from yesterday’s news. I am so thankful for my faith because it is what carries me through every day of my life, no matter how bad it gets.

Today is my 15 year Anniversary with my husband Blas and we celebrate with simplicity. He wants to continue to give me the world and asked me what I would like to today to celebrate our Anniversary. I really do love surprises so I will be happy and content for whatever he has in store for us 😍

I am really spending my day reflecting on faith, family, friends, finances, forgiveness, love, health, hope, peace and joy. Please make time to tell others you love and care for them. Make time to see family and friends, even if it’s just for a short sweet visit. 💖

Much Love to All! ~Rita ❤️

A Day in Your Shoes with 3 Families

Here is a fun video I put together from today’s event! My husband and I ended up taking care of and bringing along 3 more of Jazzy’s classmates. It felt like we were on a 5th grade super fun field trip. 😃 I loved seeing the smiles on these kids faces, knowing that we made time for them. We were only supposed to go for the Fitness event early this morning but couldn’t resist making these kids happy. 😍

Let’s Play in the Streets at Siclovia 2014

Host Rita Hernandez, represents as Inspiration 4 Life Radio/Mayor’s Fitness Council Media and captures great moments in our Communities at Siclovia 2014. It’s a day where everyone can simply go outside, play in the streets, get some exercise, ride their bikes with their families or just enjoy a great walk with friends. This is the time where San Antonio is able to close off the streets for about two and a half miles, to promote health, fitness and wellness! Here us a sneak peek of what went on at Siclovia.
